  1. siRNA library

Properties

  1. Library Source
    ICCB-Longwood Screening Facility (HMS)
  2. Resource Description
384-well plate format. Concentration Information: 1uM in siRNA buffer. Control Information: Human PLK1 SMARTpool Dharmacon Cat#: M-003290-01; siControl non-targeting siRNA #2 Dharm. Cat#: D-001206-14. This collection of siRNAs was purchased in February 2010. Dharmacon created this new collection as an update ("reversion") of their 2006 Dharmacon siGENOME library. It contains siRNA SMARTpools targeting a subset of the genes present in the Dharmacon siGENOME collection (ICCB Dharmacon Human 1-4). The design of this library is based on RefSeq version 27; Dharmacon Human 1-4 are based on RefSeq version 5 through 8. The siRNAs are arrayed as SMARTpools. The stock concentration for the siRNA library plates designated for screening is 1uM. Higher concentration stocks are available upon request. All of the siRNAs are stored in 1x Dharmacon siRNA buffer (20mM KCl, 6mM HEPES-pH 7.5, and 0.2 mM MgCl2). Screeners using 96-well plates for their assay will be provided with the appropriate information to translate 384-well plate numbers to 96-well plate numbers for the purposes of labeling assay plates.
