  • Desktop/laptop secure backup ( Support service )

    "This service provides back up for work related data (system files excluded) on Macintosh, Windows or Linux desktop or laptop computers. This system does not back up Partners “Standard” PC workstations. The system must be connected to Partners Network via wired, wireless (PHSWIFI3) or while connected on VPN to be backed up."

  • IT contracting and service ( Support service )

    "Typical requests include: web programming, systems and application integration, REDCap/Survey form design, building and supporting servers. Hourly rates are subsidized and are below market"

  • Purchasing Academic Software Licenses ( Support service )

    "As a service to the research community, we gather software requests from labs and process them in bulk orders at academic pricing. This "group buy" affords a lower price per license. Labs reimburse the core for the cost of the software only. There are no additional fees. Examples include: Safari Bookshelf, Accelrys Discovery Studio, Mathworks products."

  • Storage ( Support service )

    "Life and Biomedical Computing and Research is driven by data. The Core Facility offers several cloud-based storage option: Archive (MAD), Interactive Storage (RFA) and High-Performance storage integrated with the HPC clusters."
