Services

  • Cancer mouse model service ( Material production service )

    Service provides mouse models for the study of new drugs, drug combinations and novel therapeutic modalities. Includes both the use of the facility's numerous in-house cancer mouse models, and the purchase and housing of desired commercial cancer mouse models for the investigator.

  • Drug administration service ( Material modification service )

    Service includes drug administration by oral gavage and IP, SC or IV injection.

  • Human tumor xenografts service ( Material modification service )

    Includes establishment of human tumor xenografts in immunodeficient mice as appropriate.

  • In vitro assays to validate drug target specificity ( Material analysis service )

    Service includes: the design and implementation of in vitro assays to validate target specificity; target validation of agents or combinations of agents in cell culture in one or more murine and human tumor cell lines or mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEFs) of various genotypes; use of several different assays depending upon the agent and type of information sought; availability of an extremely large number of genetically modified MEFs lines and human tumor cell lines in our frozen repository for these studies.

  • Mouse genotyping service ( Material analysis service )

  • Protocol development service ( Support service )

    Provides advice in the study design and development of operational plans to implement protocols. Fees vary for academic internal, academic external and corporate fees.

  • Study reporting service ( Support service )

    Fees vary for academic internal, academic external and corporate fees. Provides reports of data and/or any relevant information relating to what occurred on each study.

  • Tail vein injections service ( Material processing service )

    Fees vary for academic internal, academic external and corporate fees.

  • Tissue service ( Material processing service )

    Service includes: tissues collection, tissue harvest/dissection, and tissue pre-processing. Facility does not process tissue samples; upon tissue collection, samples are passed to a Histology Core for further processing.
